ASTRIA (Sarita Apel) Argentine Tango
Astria started dancing Argentine Tango while performing with the Dardo Galletto Dance Company in NYC.

She won the US Argentine Tango Salon Championships of 2019 (ATUSA) and the SoCal Tango Championship of the same year. Astria has performed in many Tango Shows, such as “Cumparsita” by Luis Bravo (producer of “Forever Tango”) , at several seasons of the Thalia Spanish Theatre’s Tango show in New York, furthermore in the shows “Souls of Tango”, and “Impactango” as well as “Tango Argentina” with GD Tango, which toured through the US in 2022 as a CAMI Music Production. Furthermore she has performed and taught at numerous prestigious Tango events, such as the Salon Canning in Buenos Aires.
She has also created her own series of shows “3 Esquinas Tango Show”, which was a great success in NYC.
In 2023 Astria relocated back to Europe. She is working together with her partner Mariano Galeano, performing and teaching at Milongas, Workshops, Festivals and Events throughout Europe and Argentina. Together, they performed as soloist couple and choreographed for the production of Maria De Buenos Aires at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. They also toured with the show We Call It Tango by FEVER and performed with the Herrera Tango Company.
Currently, they are performing with the Paris based company “Tango in Red” and touring with their productions “Hotel Buenos Aires” and “Romeo et Juliette Tango”.
The produced shows with the renowned “Color Tango” and “Sonder Tango” orchestras, with whom they are collaborating closely.
